Yesterday, a team of eight Year 3 and 4 pupils represented Hob Hill at the district TAG Rugby Finals. Even though the team had never played together before the event (and we had no subs!), they were able to reach the semi-finals after finishing second in their qualifying group. The semi-final, against John Bamford Primary, was a very close match, but we managed to hold on to a 2 - 1 victory. This took us to a final against St Luke's, who had beaten us 6 - 0 in the group stage. Hob Hill played fantastically well, but were well beaten 6 - 1. This made us the only team to score against St Luke's all day. We are all very proud of our team who were deserved runners-up in the competition. Thanks for the great support from family and friends!
