Our Vision at Hob Hill

At Hob Hill, Christian values and the traditions of the Anglican and Methodist Churches are at the heart of our learning community.  We strive to enable our children to flourish and achieve their potential as unique creations of God.  This Vision is rooted in God's promise:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper

you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".

Jeremiah 29:11

Our Core Christian Values

We seek to fulfil our vision by embedding these core Christian values throughout the life of the school. The children have chosen Bible references, which reflect their understanding of each value:

Koinonia (Community)

All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.

Acts 4:32

Faith

“‘If you can?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.”

Mark 9:23

Agape (Love)

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13:13

Courage

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9

Hope

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

Psalm 31:24
