Equality Duty

Under Equality law, we are required to have a detailed Equality Policy and to publish annual Equality Objectives.  These can be found below.

EQ1: To ensure that the proposed expansion of the school meets the needs of stakeholders from identified charcateristic groups.

EQ2: To ensure that pupils belonging to identified characteristic groups are making progress in line with their peers.

 

Accessibility Plan

As part of the Equality duty, we are required to publish an Accessibility plan which outlines how we intend to address the three key objectives:

  • Improving Curriculum Access
  • Improving the Physical Environment
  • Improving Access to Information

Prevent Duty

As part of the government's strategy to prevent extremism and radicalisation, schools are required to publish a policy outlining how they will safeguard children against these risks.  Our policy can be found below:
